According to Diario Do Peixe, referee Alex Gomes Stefano, 37, will take charge of Santos v Red Bull Bragantino at Vila Belmiro on Sunday at 18:30, in the 15th round of the Brasileirão.

The Rio de Janeiro official, classified as AB-PRO, will have Rodrigo Figueiredo Henrique Correa (RJ) and Daniella Coutinho Pinto (BA) as assistants, with Marcio Henrique de Gois (SP) on VAR.

Last year he oversaw Santos’ 2-2 draw with Bahia at Vila Belmiro in the league. In the previous season he refereed two Serie B fixtures, a 1-0 loss at Operário-PR at Germano Kruger and a 1-1 draw with Novorizontino at Vila Belmiro.

In 2023 he served as fourth official in two Brasileirão matches for Santos, a 1-0 win over Vasco at São Januário and a 1-0 defeat to Fluminense at the Maracanã.

He also performed the same role in a 0-0 draw between Sereinhas da Vila and Flamengo at CT Nova Iguaçu in the 2023 Sub-16 Women’s Brasileirão.

The wider team for Sunday includes fourth official Antonio Dib Moraes de Sousa (PI), inspector Luiz Carlos Camara Bezerra (BR) and assessor Raimundo Nonato Lopo De Abreu (DF), plus AVAR Fabio Rogerio Baesteiroiro (SP), AVAR2 Adriano de Assis Miranda (SP), VAR observer Alicio Pena Junior (BR) and quality manager Walter de Lima Coelho Junior (SP).
