Allan was Palmeiras' standout in the 3-0 win over Flamengo, accelerating his rise in a side short of options.
Globo.com notes the No 40 is among the squad’s most cited names in the European market.
With Vitor Roque and Sosa absent and Paulinho still regaining rhythm, the 22-year-old academy graduate scored and set up Flaco López at the Maracanã.
He had already assisted Sosa against Remo in the previous round. He now has four goals and four assists this season, ending a 13-game scoring drought.
He is expected to start against Junior Barranquilla on Thursday, a match that could confirm progress to the Libertadores last 16, and on Sunday against Chapecoense in the league.
His weekend presence gains weight as Palmeiras will be without players called up for the World Cup.
Promoted to the first team in 2025, Allan became the side’s pace and dribble option after Estêvão’s departure, and last season the club rebuffed bids, including from Napoli.
With sales required in the next window, he is likely to attract heavy interest after the World Cup, though Palmeiras intend to sell only for a truly advantageous offer. His deal runs until the end of 2029 with a 100 million euro release clause, R$ 583 million.
