Manchester City have officially confirmed the signing of Leicester City winger Jeremy Monga. Monga has signed a five-year deal with the FA Cup and Carabao Cup holders. Monga’s contract runs until the summer of 2031. By signing of Monga, City have signed one of the brightest young prospects in English football. It will now be fascinating to see if Monga can fulfil his undoubted potential over the coming years at Manchester City.

He became the second youngest player to play in England’s top flight in the process. Jeremy Monga played often for the Foxes last season ae he made 30 appearances in all competitions adding a goal and two assists. Monga was primarily used as a substitute last season by Leicester City. However, the fact that he made so many appearances for Leicester City last season as a 16-year-old shows how highly regarded he is.

Upon signing for Manchester City, Jeremy Monga revealed that it was a dream come true to sign for the FA Cup and Carabao Cup holders. Also, Monga is excited to play for the club which has been the benchmark in English football. Manchester City have signed one of the top attacking prospects in English football by completing the signing of Jeremy Monga from Leicester City. Monga’s combination of speed, dribbling ability, eye for goal and a pass, plus his power makes him an elite prospect. Also, Monga can play on either wing or in a central attacking role.
