André Luiz has addressed mounting interest from Europe, insisting his focus remains on Corinthians and that his future is undecided. The midfielder has been linked with Milan in recent weeks.
He has started regularly and is expected to feature on Wednesday at 21:30 against Fluminense at the Maracanã in round nine of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
“On that, I am very calm, I am very relaxed. I do not think about it. I am thinking about Corinthians, 100% here at Corinthians. I leave it to Corinthians and to my agents to see what is best for the club, what is best for me,” he said to ESPN.
“It is good. If it is meant to be at Milan, it will be. If it is meant to be at another team, it will be at another team. I leave it in God’s hands to guide it in the best way,” he added.
Any departure would only be from the international window, which in Brazil is scheduled for 20 July to 11 September, and would depend on Corinthians accepting a proposal.
Luiz made his senior debut in September 2025 in a 1-0 win over Fluminense under Dorival Júnior. He has since played 28 matches, 14 as a starter, scoring four goals, and has emerged as a key performer in 2026.
