Another Real Madrid star secures Man of the Match prize at World Cup | OneFootball

The impressive World Cup campaign being enjoyed by members of the first-team ranks at La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid continued on Friday.

This came courtesy of another Man of the Match performance conjured up by Blancos star Arda Güler.

Türkiye brought what ultimately proved to be a disappointing showing at this summer’s World Cup to a close in the early hours of this morning, against host nation USA.

Midfield prodigy Arda featured from the off in the matchup, and went on to play a starring role in a morale-boosting victory for his country.

En route to a 3-2 triumph, the 21-year-old levelled things up early on, before conjuring up a moment of individual class to create Türkiye’s last-gasp winner.

These exploits culminated in Arda securing for himself the Man of the Match award following the full-time whistle in Los Angeles.

The starlet joins Real Madrid teammates Vinícius Jr. and Kylian Mbappé in clinching ‘MVP’ honours in North America this summer.
