Anton Gets 7, Okafor With 6.5 | Leeds United Players Rated In Tough Loss Vs Chelsea

Leeds United faced off against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result in the semifinals of the FA Cup. The Whites made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 23rd minute when Enzo Fernandez found the back of the net. The West Yorkshire club went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Leeds failed to mount a comeback in the second half and crashed to a tough 1-0 loss at Wembley.
Let’s take a look at how each Leeds United player fared during the clash against the Blues.
He made a couple of good saves at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet.
CB: James Justin – 6/10
Justin cleared his lines when the opposition are on the offensive and was replaced in the 45th minute.
CB: Jaka Bijol – 6.5/10
He won his fair share of aerial duels and was tidy with his passing.
CB: Pascal Struijk – 6.5/10
He put his foot through the ball when needed, but made a costly error at the back during the game.

RW: Jayden Bogle – 6.5/10
Bogle came back to defend when needed and made one good run with the ball.
CM: Ethan Ampadu – 7/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction and was tidy with his passing.
CM: Ao Tanaka – 6/10
Tanaka came back to defend when needed, but struggled to influence the game going forward.
LW: Gabriel Gudmundsson – 6.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well and won a couple of aerial duels.
RAM: Brenden Aaronson – 6.5/10
Aaronson caught the eye at times on the right flank but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
LAM: Noah Okafor – 6.5/10
He managed to cause some problems for his marker, but there was no goal for him.
ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 6.5/10
Calvert-Lewin worked hard on the offensive end of the field but failed to take his chances.
CM: Anton Stach – 6.5/10
He had a few strikes at goal.
CB: Joe Rodon – 6/10
Rodon was good on the ball.
LW: Wilfried Gnonto – 6/10
His impact on the game was minimal.
He made one good chance in the final third.
