Arsenal are close to finalising a deal for Bruno Guimaraes as Premier League rivals push for major targets in a busy summer window, according to The Standard.

The Gunners have not given up on Vinicius Junior or Julian Alvarez and are said to be lining up a surprise defensive addition after being offered Maxi Araujo. They are also welcoming two prospects, Axel Donczew and Mylo Bernard.

Manchester United are eyeing a swoop for Igor Thiago and are believed to be considering a bid for Lewis Hall after Eddie Howe’s abrupt exit from Newcastle, where Matthias Jaissle will take over this weekend.

Chelsea are set to confirm the arrivals of Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck after unveiling Maxence Lacroix. Liverpool are stepping up a big-money pursuit of Bradley Barcola and are newly linked with Araujo and Japan star Kaishu Sano.

Tottenham could sign both Savinho and team-mate Omar Marmoush. Manchester City are pressing for Ayyoub Bouaddi and Geronimo Rulli, while West Ham have approached Celtic over Arne Engels.
