Arsenal preparing new bid for La Liga star | OneFootball

Premier League giants Arsenal are readying a fresh proposal for the signature of Valencia star Cristhian Mosquera.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing information from English sources this weekend.

The name of stopper Mosquera has of course taken its place front and centre in the transfer chatter across Europe of late.

This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the aforementioned Arsenal had kicked into gear efforts to land the Spanish youth international.

The Gunners’ opening offer, worth a sum in the region of €14 million, was rejected out of hand by Valencia.

But if the latest word stemming from the media on Sunday is anything to go by, then Mikel Arteta and co. have evidently not been deterred.

As per a report from MD:

‘The latest news suggests that Arsenal are willing to make a new offer to Valencia, and that it could be close to the €20 million that the Mestalla team reportedly value him at.’
