Raphinha has delivered the kind of message Barcelona fans would love to hear, offering insight into his future at the club.

The 29-year-old is coming off a tricky season with the Catalan club, in which persistent injuries did not allow him to perform at the level he did in the 2024/25 campaign.

Speaking ahead of Brazil’s World Cup opener, as quoted by SPORT, the winger made it clear that his commitment to Blaugrana remains resolute.

He said: “As long as my body holds up and allows me, I will keep giving everything and giving the best of myself at Barça… and also with the Selecao.”

“There are days when I do not manage to give my best, but for me it is unacceptable to leave the pitch without having emptied myself.”

That mentality is exactly why he has become so important. It is also the reason why he is perhaps the Barcelona player Hansi Flick loves the most.
