AS Monaco: Here is the comeback plan for Paul Pogba

Hope is rekindled for Paul Pogba. Sidelined with a calf injury since December, the midfielder hasn’t featured for AS Monaco FC and has missed all group training sessions.

His coach, Sébastien Pocognoli, shed light on the next steps in Pogba’s recovery. If his physical condition allows, Pogba is expected to return to training before the upcoming international break:

Since arriving in the principality last year, Pogba has only played 30 minutes of competitive football. Injuries have hampered his comeback and raised questions about his ability to reach his peak again after his 2023 doping-related suspension. Pogba’s contract with Monaco runs until 2027. The club is banking on his full rehabilitation, but uncertainty still hangs over his future form and performance levels.
