Casemiro reportedly requested that he be brought off in the second half against Tottenham Hotspur.
Manchester United were leading 1-0 at the time of his withdrawal, with Casemiro forming one third of a triple change by Ruben Amorim that saw Manuel Ugarte replace the No.18, Mason Mount replace Matheus Cunha, and Leny Yoro come in for Harry Maguire.

Maguire had suffered what appeared to be a hamstring injury, as he was seen clutching the area in the build-up to his exit.
In the very final stages of the clash, Benjamin Sesko also sustained an injury setback and departed the field, leaving United with 10 men for the remaining few minutes and added time, as Amorim had used all of his substitutes.
Now, it’s been reported that Casemiro wasn’t feeling 100 per cent when he took to the bench.
“Once again, Casemiro leaves the field and Manchester United’s defensive system crumbles,” said TNT Sports’ Brazil correspondent Fred Caldeira, after United conceded in the 84th minute.
Further, he added: “Casemiro asked to leave after taking a rough hit.”
Amorim did not touch on the 33-year-old’s condition post-match like he did with Sesko, so fans can perhaps assume he made a swift recovery.

Carlo Ancelotti has called upon the midfielder to represent Brazil once again in their upcoming World Cup friendlies against Senegal and Tunisia.
Assuming he keeps up his top form, there’s a real chance Casemiro will make his nation’s World Cup squad next summer, where they’ll be hoping to add a sixth title to their stacked honours list.
Meanwhile, United return to action after the break with a home clash against Everton on Monday, November 24.
