According to the program El Partidazo de la Cope, Athletic Bilbao remains highly optimistic about Aymeric Laporte's return.

The Spanish defender, currently playing for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, could not be signed before the transfer window closed, but the Basque club's management is actively continuing negotiations.
