Athletic have told Sporting de Portugal that any of their supporters who buy home-end tickets at San Mamés could be ejected.

According to El Correo, UEFA’s disciplinary bodies sanctioned the Lisbon club in December.

Sporting are due to face Athletic at San Mamés next Wednesday.

The punishment followed the use of pyrotechnics by Sporting supporters.

As a result, visiting fans will not be admitted to La Catedral for this fixture.
