Atlético Madrid star agrees contract terms with Juventus | OneFootball

Atlético Madrid star Alexander Sørloth has this weekend agreed on the terms of a departure from the club.

This comes amid the understanding that the Norwegian has given his word to Italian heavyweights Juventus over an incoming summer transfer.

Frontman Sørloth is for his part fresh off another productive campaign in front of goal in Spain’s capital.

Across 54 appearances in all competitions, the 30-year-old managed to find the net 20 times, making it three successive seasons with 20+ goals.

And yet, owing to the stiff competition for places in Diego Simeone’s attacking ranks, Sørloth saw more than half of his appearances come from the bench in 2025/26.

In turn, it should perhaps not come as a major surprise to learn of the towering goalscorer eyeing a new adventure for next season.

As per a report from transfer insider Matteo Moretto, as cited by Fabrizio Romano:

‘Initial agreement on personal terms between Juventus and Alexander Sørloth’s camp. Talks to continue between Juve and Atléti as the two sides keep discussing also about Nico González.’
