Atlético-MG lead Brazilian attendance rankings in Sudamericana 2026

Atlético-MG are the Brazilian club with the highest average crowd in the Sudamericana 2026. According to Globo.com, the Galo drew 61,021 fans across three home matches, an average of 20,340 per game.
São Paulo posted the second-best average, 16,901, followed by Grêmio on 15,579. Botafogo averaged 11,003, Vasco 9,717, Santos 7,885 and Bragantino 3,181.
Atlético-MG’s 1-0 win over Puerto Cabello at Arena MRV attracted 24,656, the largest attendance for Brazilian teams in this edition. The result secured the Galo a place in the last 16.
They also feature in three of the top five Brazilian gates, with 18,245 against Cienciano and 18,120 against Juventud. São Paulo’s 2-0 victory over O’Higgins at Morumbis drew 19,990, while Grêmio’s 2-2 with Montevideo City Torque had 19,461.
The rankings are based on attendances recorded at the stadiums, as CONMEBOL does not release match financial reports for its competitions. In addition, Atlético-MG, Bragantino, São Paulo and Santos do not disclose tickets sold for their Sudamericana fixtures.
