Benfica visit Porto on Sunday at 20:30 in the seventh round of the I Liga. Aursnes could feature in midfield, Bah has returned, while Barrenechea is sidelined.

According to O Jogo, the probable Benfica XI is: Samuel Soares, Bah, Tomás Araújo, Lenglet and Dahl, Aursnes and João Palhinha, Rafa, Prestianni and Schjelderup, Pavlidis.

After a cameo against Gil Vicente then a start versus AC Milan, finishing at right back, Aursnes is seen by Marco Silva as a key option. He did not reveal if he will use four attackers, instead noting Aursnes is regaining fitness, mainly a midfielder who can also operate at full back.

Right back Alexander Bah has recovered from a right shoulder injury and has travelled to Porto after missing the Moreirense, Gil Vicente and AC Milan games. He could even return to the XI.

Barrenechea stayed in Lisbon after a late setback and faces six to eight weeks out. Tests showed a left-knee sprain with a medial meniscus tear, and surgery is planned. The international break should cover three weeks, but he is not expected to play before November, with a best-case return on 2 November against Alverca after at least six games out.
