Fernando Solanas, the face behind the AC Talent Agency in Spain, is going to be a key figure for Barcelona this month as he incidentally manages both Inaki Pena and Hector Fort – two players linked with a move away from the club.
Pena, for one, is no longer a part of Barcelona’s project, with the club looking to send him out on loan with a mandatory purchase option.
Fort, on the other hand, has found himself falling behind Jules Kounde and now Eric Garcia in the pecking order, with no real hopes for a breakthrough. Barcelona are looking to send him out on loan as well.
As uncertainty over the future of Fort and Pena continues, SPORT reports that Solanas recently met Barcelona sporting director Deco.
The meeting was presumably surrounding the future of Pena and Fort, with Barcelona particularly keen on expediting the exit of the former.

The club believe Pena’s exit could be crucial in helping them register Wojciech Szczesny, the club’s actual second-choice goalkeeper.
Celta Vigo and Como have emerged as the two suitors for Pena, though it appears Celta have recently withdrawn from the race.
As for Fort, Barcelona do not consider his exit as a key economic lever. However, the club can still potentially make €5 million from the sale of the youngster, who has no real chance of becoming a key player in the team right now.
The coming week, therefore, could prove to be critical as Barcelona look to finalise the future of not one but three players in Pena, Fort and Oriol Romeu, who is likely to be allowed to leave on a free transfer.
