With the summer transfer window just around the corner, FC Barcelona have already identified the areas they intend to strengthen and the top targets for the position.
As has already been well-established, signing a new left-sided winger is one of the main objectives for the La Liga champions.
Liverpool winger Luis Diaz has been identified as the absolute priority by Barcelona, with sporting director Deco and manager Hansi Flick both on board with the idea of signing him.
However, a move for the Colombian international is complicated as reports suggest that he could cost more than €85 million with Al-Nassr also interested.
However, according to journalist Toni Juanmarti, Barcelona believe that luring Luis Diaz away from Liverpool will not cost €85 million.
Instead, the belief within the Catalan outfit is that the winger could be signed for a fee of around €65-70 million.

Moreover, Gerard Romero reports that Barcelona director Deco not only likes the 28-year-old winger, but absolutely ‘adores’ him.
However, the Blaugrana’s Financial Fair Play situation is still unclear and complicated, which could make a move for the Colombian speedster difficult to pull off.
Much will depend on how things shape up as far as the Fair Play margin is concerned as well as Diaz’s desires as Saudi Arabia can offer a much more lucrative contract.
The 28-year-old scored 13 goals and set up seven more in 36 matches this season, helping Arne Slot’s men lift the Premier League title.
In case the Liverpool forward does not arrive, Barcelona have identified alternatives, one of whom happens to be Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford.
The England forward, for his part, is desperate to join the La Liga champions and is prepared to drastically reduce his salary to secure the move.
