Barcelona broke an all-time Real Madrid record in win over Real Betis | OneFootball

Hansi Flick’s Barcelona on Sunday secured for themselves a special piece of Spanish football history.

This came owing to their latest triumph on the La Liga front.

Barcelona were back in action a short time ago, welcoming Real Betis to the Spotify Camp Nou for the final home outing of the club’s campaign.

When all was said and done, the Blaugrana emerged on the right side of a 3-1 result, courtesy of a Raphinha brace, and a further strike on the part of João Cancelo.

And as alluded to above, in the process, Flick’s Barca etched their names yet further into the history books…

Remarkably, the Catalans’ victory on Sunday means that they triumphed in each and every one of their 19 home La Liga fixtures in 2025/26.

This makes Barcelona the first side to ever manage such a feat in the 38-game format in Spain’s top-flight, breaking a record previously set by Real Madrid during the 34-game era.
