The left-wing is one of the areas of their team for which FC Barcelona would have to make some decisions in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Catalans are yet to decide on what way forward to take with Marcus Rashford, whose loan period would expire at the end of this season.

In case the Englishman proves to be too expensive a player, the Blaugranes have some other players already outlined to reinforce this area of their team. For instance, they have been linked with Victor Munoz, even though his association with Real Madrid would make any operation for him quite difficult.

Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo reports that the winger Jan Virgili remains a low-cost option for them, as they already have a 40% right on the player, having transferred the rest of the 60% to Mallorca for €4 million.

The player has also seen his importance in the Belearic team decrease following Martin Demichelis’ arrival, as the Greek does not prefer to play with wingers.

For now, Jan Virgili is focused on helping his team avoid relegation, and after that, he would have several options on the table, including coming back to Barcelona, in the next summer transfer window.
