The injury problems continue to mount for FC Barcelona just two months into the 2024/25 season.
While the Blaugrana seem set to recover Lamine Yamal and Alejandro Balde this weekend, they have now suffered two fresh blows.
As reported just minutes ago, Joan Garcia suffered an injury in training today and is expected to be out until the international break.
Joining the Spanish goalkeeper on the sidelines will be key winger Raphinha, reports Gerard Romero.
The Brazilian international had to be taken off in the 66th minute against Real Oviedo last night due to some discomfort in his hamstring.
As a result of the issue, Raphinha did not train with the rest of the group during today’s session and worked individually inside the gym.

Now, it has emerged that the former Leeds United man has suffered an injury and is unlikely to return until after the international break.
It means that Raphinha will now miss this weekend’s Real Sociedad clash as well as the big game against PSG in the UEFA Champions League, and the La Liga match vs Sevilla after that.
Official confirmation about the same should arrive soon, as problems mount for Barcelona, who are already without Gavi, Fermin Lopez, and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
So far this season, Raphinha has featured in all of Barcelona’s seven games in all competitions, scoring three and assisting two goals.
The 28-year-old superstar, who had finished fifth in the 2025 Ballon d’Or rankings, could be out for around three weeks.
