As Barcelona carry out their final preparations for tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League game against Olympiacos, there are several notable absentees from the training session.
Players like Robert Lewandowski, Gavi, Dani Olmo, Joan Garcia, and Marc-Andre ter Stegen are all injured and out of the game.
Meanwhile, Raphinha and Ferran Torres are also still not training with the group and are most certainly ruled out of the contest.
Now, according to FCBRAC1, Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen is also not participating in today’s training session.
The 29-year-old Danish defender arrived at the Ciutat Esportiva this morning but did not step onto the training pitches as he was feeling unwell, and ended up returning home.

Despite the development, as things stand, Christensen has not been ruled out of the game against Olympiacos and could still make the squad list for tomorrow.
A clearer update should emerge when Hansi Flick addresses the media in his press conference in a little while.
If Christensen is ruled out, it will only add to mounting problems for Hansi Flick. The Dane is a valuable player who provides cover both in central defence and in midfield.
Given the number of absentees for the game already, Flick & co. will hope that Christensen feels better soon and is available to face the Greek giants tomorrow in the Champions League clash.
So far this season, Christensen has featured in nine matches across all competitions for Barcelona. However, only three of them have come as starts.
