Barcelona insist RFEF were informed immediately about Lamine Yamal’s condition amid growing rift | OneFootball

Lamine Yamal’s recovery remains a top priority for Barcelona, with the club’s Medical Services maintaining constant coordination with the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to ensure his rehabilitation is handled with absolute care and precision. 

Despite his withdrawal from Spain’s recent squad, both institutions are said to be working in harmony, focused solely on one shared goal, which is the player’s full and safe recovery.

Notably, the 18-year-old winger has been dealing with pubic discomfort in recent weeks, a delicate condition that demands patience and expert handling. 

To strengthen their approach, Barcelona enlisted the help of renowned Belgian doctor Ernest Schilders, widely regarded as one of the foremost international specialists in this area of sports medicine.

Everything is on track so far

As reported before, Dr. Schilders travelled to Barcelona on Monday, November 10, just a day after the team’s match against Celta de Vigo, to personally examine Yamal. 

The doctor conducted a full assessment alongside the club’s medical staff. Encouragingly, the evaluation painted a positive picture.

The evolution of Yamal’s condition was deemed satisfactory and under control, even though the recovery process naturally carries some risk. 

After a thorough discussion between Dr. Schilders, Barcelona’s medical department, and the player himself, a decision was made to implement a radiofrequency treatment to further support his healing process.

While the treatment itself is minimally invasive, it requires a short resting phase and close medical supervision. 

Barcelona have been clear

As such, as per Mundo Deportivo, the RFEF was immediately informed of this medical decision by Barcelona’s doctors, underlining the transparent and cooperative relationship between both parties.

Barcelona are acting responsibly and in complete agreement with Yamal, ensuring that every step taken serves the sole purpose of securing his long-term fitness. 

The club has stressed that the recovery plan is being followed with calm, precision, and mutual understanding, as everyone involved is working towards a common goal.
