What the pre-game press conference turned into, however, was a special one as Flick revealed several aspects about his love for the club.

In addition to calling it the best stint of his managerial career, he spoke about his two dreams at the club and how Barcelona will be the last club he ever manages.

Concurrently, he even confirmed that he wants to renew his contract with Barcelona and committed his future to the club for the next few seasons.

Yuste happy that Flick is happy

Barcelona’s interim president, Rafa Yuste, spoke out ahead of the team’s clash against Celta Vigo later today.

The acting president discussed Flick’s words in his pre-game press conference yesterday on how he is very happy at the club.

“I like to hear Hansi say that he is happy at Barça. He has one more year of contract.”

He was then asked to shed more light on Flick’s potential contract renewal which the manager hinted at ahead of the Celta Vigo clash.

“His renewal? This is not the time to talk about this now. He already said it yesterday.”

As part of his conversation, he highlighted the importance of the team’s focus and how they must come out all guns blazing to take down the Galicians.

“Every game is a final. We don’t make a forecast of when we will win the league. The only thing I think about is beating Celta tonight.”
