Barcelona leading all of Arsenal, Chelsea & Bayern Munich in transfer race | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona are considered as the clear frontrunners to secure the signing of an in-demand attacking star this summer.

That’s according to transfer journalist Florian Plettenberg, who points towards Nico Williams as the player in question.

Wide-man Nico is for his part understood to be in the sights of a whole host of leading European clubs with a view to next season.

This comes with the 22-year-old widely considered to be ready to make the step up to act as a leading protagonist at one of the very best sides on the continent.

As things stand, all of Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Barcelona have their sights on Nico.

As alluded to above, though, one clear favourite has over recent days emerged in the heated battle for the Athletic Club standout.

As per a report from Florian Plettenberg of Sky:

‘FC Barcelona currently have the best chances in the race for Nico Williams – ahead of FC Bayern, Arsenal, and Chelsea. Joan Laporta is now assessing whether a transfer is feasible and if Williams can be registered.’
