Despite tasting the first defeat of 2025, the mood in the Barcelona camp has been very positive this week, largely on account of Real Madrid’s elimination in the UEFA Champions League.
The reigning European champions are currently in a state of bother, with uncertainty over the future of coach Carlo Ancelotti, who has reportedly lost the dressing room.
All of this could severely impact the Real Madrid dressing room as they approach the Copa Del Rey final against Barcelona.
A recent report from SPORT has reiterated the fact that Barcelona are supremely confident heading into the Copa del Rey final.
The dressing room believes the team is considerably superior to Real Madrid, which has been evidenced by the fact that Barça have dominated their rivals in the two matchups this season.
Barcelona have indeed cumulatively scored nine goals against Real Madrid in the last two matches, notably securing the Spanish Super Cup.

Now, the Catalans are eyeing the Copa Del Rey, which will be Hansi Flick’s second major title since joining Barcelona.
In fact, the Barcelona camp is even confident about the fact that the club can secure a treble this season.
Confidence is growing with each passing week, although Barça must not get complacent, especially after the recent defeat to Borussia Dortmund.
Celta Vigo coach Claudio Giraldez has already pointed out that Barcelona can be broken ahead of their La Liga clash this weekend.
Giraldez, though, did admit that Barcelona are one of the top three teams in the world right now, if not the best.
Nevertheless, Barcelona should approach each game individually, starting with this weekend’s clash against Celta Vigo.
