FC Barcelona have been working non-stop to ensure that no more financial hurdles come in their way. The Catalan giants have been limited by such restrictions since quite some time now, and the consequences continue to linger about. Even now, Barcelona are facing various kinds of difficulties this season due to such issues.

One of the most pressing matters, however, is the registration dilemma regarding Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. Both of the Barcelona summer signings were temporarily registered with La Liga but they now need to be reintegrated with the Spanish league and Barça’s issues with the league’s rulings are proving to be troublesome.

However, in hopes of finding a solution, club president Joan Laporta has been diligently working and looking for answers. According to Mundo Deportivo, however, he seems to have made great progress over in Dubai in regards to the sale of VIP seats.

Previously, it was reported that the sale of VIP seats in advance was a plan that Barcelona had come up with to ensure a sizeable injection of around €100 million. Over in Dubai, Laporta has been working to make this idea a reality and he has now reportedly reached an agreement with a Dubai-based company to sell part of those VIP seats.

Unfortunately, this will likely not be enough to ensure the registrations that Barcelona want to wrap up. However, the club is actively working on selling the remainder of the VIP seats of the Spotify Camp Nou that is currently undergoing a massive construction process. Fortunately, sources claim that the club is optimistic about making more progress on this end.

Even then, if the €100 million cannot be raised through VIP seats alone, even the Barcelona board is willing to step in and provide financial guarantees themselves. This amount could be close to or less than €60 million, however, as part of the seats are already identified as having been sold.

In other news, the club continues to wait for further notice on the lawsuit that was filed against La Liga. That particular issue will also go a long way in determining the future of what happens with Barça’s registration problems, but the club remains optimistic about the final outcome of this entire situation.
