The FC Barcelona midfielder Gavi has been going through quite a difficult moment. Some weeks ago, he felt some discomfort in his knee, which was initially not believed to be anything serious.
However, he still had to undergo surgery, and things went worse as the surgeons saw his situation to be worse than previously assessed, and now he is set to remain on the sidelines for the next 4-5 months.
In such a difficult time, the midfielder himself remains quite motivated to return and continue playing for the Blaugrana club. Meanwhile, as Mundo Deportivo has reported, he has also received countless messages of support from his current and former teammates.
The Catalan club itself shared a heartfelt message on social media:
“You’ll come back stronger, always with you, Gavi.”
Among the first to show support was Lamine Yamal, who wrote:
“My warrior, I have no doubt you’ll soon be back as the best as ever. Nothing can stop you; we’re all waiting for you. Stay strong, I love you.”
Alejandro Balde, one of Gavi’s closest friends in the dressing room, also left a message:
“You’ll come back stronger, my brother. We’re with you.”
Former teammate Ansu Fati, who knows all too well the struggles of recurring injuries, sent his encouragement from Monaco:
“Always with you, little brother.”
Marc Bernal, himself only recently back from a year-long knee injury, also reached out:
“Be strong, brother, you can do anything.”
Meanwhile, Héctor Fort, now on loan at Elche, posted:
“A warrior like you can handle this and more. We’re all with you, brother.”
Similarly, Ousmane Dembele, who played with Gavi at Barcelona before moving to Paris Saint-Germain and who recently won the Ballon d’Or, also remembered the Blaugrana midfielder in this difficult moment as he posted a message on social media:
“I hope you recover soon so we can see you enjoying yourself on the field again. Lots of strength, little brother.”
Hopefully, all these messages will only go on to encourage Gavi to remain optimistic in this difficult time and remain committed to seeing himself back on the pitch as soon as possible.
