Barcelona star in fresh injury scare after leaving training early | OneFootball

Barcelona star Andreas Christensen has on Tuesday sparked fresh concerns across the club’s fanbase.

This comes amid confirmation that the Dane was forced into a premature departure from training on Tuesday morning.

As per a report from Jijantes, Christensen began training as normal with the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad.

Upon a round of ‘rondos’ being kicked into gear, however, the former Chelsea man quickly departed, heading straight back to the dressing room.

Christensen is for his part fresh off returning from a spell on the sidelines, through a calf injury.

The 29-year-old sat out his third game in succession over the weekend, as Barcelona got the better of Elche in a La Liga clash.

With Christensen having long struggled to maintain fitness, his early exit from group activities on Tuesday has in turn sparked concern surrounding another incoming spell on the treatment table for the talented stopper.
