Barcelona star limps out of Daegu clash with injury | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Monday been dealt a concerning blow on the personnel front.

This comes after a leading member of the club’s backline was forced into a premature departure from the club’s latest outing.

Barcelona of course marked their return to action a short time ago.

In the final outing of the club’s pre-season tour of Asia, the Blaugrana locked horns with South Korean outfit FC Daegu.

When all was said and done, Hansi Flick’s troops dominated, en route to an eventual 50 romp.

As alluded to above, however, along the way, the Spanish champions were also forced to deal with an alarming blow on the injury front.

Inside the closing exchanges at the Daegu Stadium, Pau Cubarsí went to ground off the ball, in evident discomfort.

From here, it quickly became clear that the young defender was in no fit state to continue, hauled off by boss Hansi Flick as a result.

It now remains to be seen if Cubarsí is facing up to any sort of significant incoming spell on the sidelines.
