Urs Fischer has kept Mainz’s goalkeeping call for Sunday at St. Pauli open, with Robin Zentner in contention to replace Daniel Batz.

According to BuLi News, Zentner has not played since an adductor injury in November, but he is nearing full fitness.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, the Mainz coach neither confirmed nor ruled out a change. “Let yourself be surprised,” he said when asked if Zentner would be back between the posts on Sunday.

A recall to the starting line-up remains on the table, which would come at Batz’s expense.

The decision will be known on Sunday afternoon when the teams are announced.
