FC Bayern are apparently looking closely at Dusan Vlahovic. The Juventus striker is seen by the Munich club as a possible backup candidate for Harry Kane. Now there is noticeable movement in the personnel matter – and the initial situation could become quite interesting for the record champions
The situation surrounding Dusan Vlahovic is becoming increasingly complicated at Juventus Turin. The Serbian international’s contract expires next summer and an extension currently seems anything but certain
As several Italian media outlets recently reported, talks between Juventus and the player’s side are continuing, but an agreement appears to be moving further and further away
Particularly problematic from the Italians‘ point of view: Juventus once paid more than 80 million euros for Vlahovic, and now the attacker may be at risk of leaving on a free transfer
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the poker game has now come to a head, with Juventus only prepared to offer the striker around half of his previous net salary of around twelve million euros
This is precisely what is currently causing Vlahovic to hesitate, as the Serbian apparently wants to wait and see which top clubs actually enter the transfer poker
In addition to FC Bayern, AC Milan and other clubs are also said to have expressed an interest

The situation is therefore developing quite interestingly for FC Bayern, who are still looking for a reliable backup for Harry Kane – and Vlahovic apparently fits the profile they are looking for
According to the report, the Serbian international can very well imagine a move to Munich and is also said to be willing to initially take on the role of a rotation player at FC Bayern
This is precisely what makes the move so attractive for Bayern’s management, who are apparently looking for a physically strong, hungry attacker who can take the pressure off Kane without immediately demanding a regular place
A deal could also make financial sense: although Bayern would probably not pay Vlahovic a top salary at Juve level, the striker could receive an attractive hand money in the event of a transfer
Compared to other options, Vlahovic appears increasingly realistic. Nicolas Jackson, for example, who has also recently been touted as a possible Kane backup, is said to be significantly more expensive. According to reports, Chelsea are demanding more than 60 million euros for the attacker
FC Bayern could therefore now try to intensify talks with Vlahovic’s entourage. According to the latest developments, it would no longer be a surprise if Munich were to become more concrete in the near future.
