FC Bayern has already invested heavily this summer transfer window. Nevertheless, the Munich club continues to keep a close eye on the market—especially in central midfield. A key player from Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly on their radar as well.
With the signings of Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari, FC Bayern has already invested more than 100 million euros in new players. Both new signings cost around 50 million euros each and are among the most important additions for the upcoming season.
As reported by *kicker*, the Munich club’s focus remains on generating transfer revenue. Several players are expected to leave the club to create financial flexibility for potential further signings.
Despite prioritizing sales, club officials have not stopped their search for reinforcements. According to *kicker*, the record champions are still scouting the market—primarily for players on the left wing and in central midfield.
Several candidates are reportedly being monitored, particularly for the number 8 position. One of them is apparently Fabian Ruiz of Paris Saint-Germain.

The Spanish international has been one of Europe’s most consistent midfielders for years. At the ongoing World Cup, the 30-year-old once again caught the spotlight and even displaced Pedri from the starting lineup on the Spanish national team. Ruiz was also in the starting lineup for the semifinal victory over France and impressed with a strong performance.
At Paris Saint-Germain, the midfielder also enjoys the full confidence of coach Luis Enrique. Nevertheless, his contract situation could become interesting. Ruiz is under contract with the top French club through 2027.
In addition, PSG has Warren Zaïre-Emery, one of Europe’s most promising midfield talents, who is expected to take on an even bigger role in the long term. Whether this actually presents an opportunity for FC Bayern remains to be seen, however.
As things stand, this is merely a matter of monitoring the market. No concrete negotiations or discussions between FC Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain have been reported so far.
