Rumors from England link Morgan Rogers with FC Bayern, but now there is a clear classification
FC Bayern’s plans for the summer transfer window are in full swing, with the club repeatedly being linked with top players from the Premier League. Most recently, the name Morgan Rogers has also been bandied about
The attacking player from Aston Villa was considered a possible candidate for a move to the German record champions in English media reports. The speculation attracted a lot of attention – mainly due to the 23-year-old’s strong season
But now there is a clear classification from Germany. Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg said of the rumors: „There were wild reports in England.“ He explained: „No, Bayern are not involved.“
This means that a possible transfer of the England star to Munich does not appear to be an issue at present
Although Bayern officials are continuing to keep a close eye on the English market, the focus appears to be on one player in particular at the moment: Anthony Gordon is seen internally as a much more concrete option
The 25-year-old from Newcastle United has made a name for himself this season: with 17 goals and five assists in 46 competitive matches, Gordon is one of the most eye-catching attacking players on the island this season. Internally, he is therefore seen as a potential difference-maker who could take FC Bayern’s attack to a new level

Concrete talks with the player’s side are said to have already taken place, while a direct exchange with Newcastle has yet to take place. What is clear, however, is that should a realistic opportunity arise, the record champions could get serious about Gordon in the summer – and probably not Morgan Rogers.
