Bayern Munich have been linked with Sunderland duo Brian Brobbey and Robin Roefs ahead of the summer window, after standout campaigns in the club’s first season back in the Premier League. Both arrived last summer and are on long-term deals.

According to Sunderland Echo, Bayern have monitored Brobbey and have Roefs on a list of long-term goalkeeping options. The pair have attracted interest from several leading European clubs.

Sunderland value Roefs at around £60 million, while Brobbey is understood to be rated between £40 million and £50 million. Any combined package could approach £100 million, and the club are under no pressure to sell.

Brobbey joined from Ajax for about £17.3 million, rising to roughly £21.6 million, and has six goals in 25 games. His physical presence and movement have been key under Régis Le Bris. The 24-year-old has previously drawn interest from Arsenal and is expected to be in the Netherlands World Cup squad.

Roefs has emerged as Sunderland’s established number one after an impressive campaign. Bayern are weighing options for a long-term successor to Manuel Neuer and also admire Brighton’s Bart Verbruggen. Chelsea have been credited with strong interest in the 23-year-old.

Sunderland’s data-led recruitment has boosted both players’ values since arriving at the Stadium of Light. If interest turns into formal bids, sporting director Florent Ghisolfi will face significant decisions, with any move likely to test the club’s resolve.
