The 20-year-old took a clear step forward at Heidenheim, racking up nine points in a challenging environment. According to Bayern officials, Ibrahimovic has the desire and motivation to make the most of this opportunity.

According to *kicker*, Ibrahimovic’s role for the new season has already been clearly communicated internally. Although he is versatile, he is primarily expected to serve as a backup for Luis Diaz on the left wing.

Previously, a classic winger like Anthony Gordon had been the transfer target. It was only through this shift in strategy that a spot opened up for Ibrahimovic.
