Salih Özcan and Türkiye suffered a heavy defeat on Sunday evening. The Turkish national team found themselves on the wrong end of a 6-0 (3-0) scoreline in their second World Cup qualifier against Spain. Özcan came on for Ismail Yüksek in the 82nd minute.

Cole Campbell was also in action on Sunday evening. As part of the USA U20 national team's training camp, the Dortmund player was in the American youth selection that drew 0-0 against Morocco. The match took place on neutral ground at the Pinatar Arena in Spain.
