According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica marked Óscar Cardozo’s retirement on Instagram, sharing special photos and nodding to a famous terrace chant.

The club’s post used the line 'Tenham cuidado… ele é perigoso…' on its official page, and thanked Óscar 'Tacuara' Cardozo for the memories.

Cardozo had announced his farewell in a video he shared, revisiting standout moments from a long career, including his Benfica years set to that chant.

The Paraguayan striker played for Benfica from 2007 to 2014, scoring 172 goals in 293 official games, becoming the club’s leading foreign scorer.

He won two league titles, one Taça de Portugal and four Taças da Liga. Individually, he was twice the Portuguese league’s top scorer and the Europa League leading marksman in 2009/10.
