Benfica ‘to seek’ at least €40m for Andreas Schjelderup | OneFootball

According to A Bola, Benfica would seek no less than €40m for Andreas Schjelderup if he departs this summer. The 22-year-old Norway winger finished the 2025/26 campaign strongly and is now among the most coveted players in the squad.

The fee could increase if he excels for Norway at World Cup 2026, with the tournament seen as a clear chance to lift his valuation.

The winger is understood to view this window as the right time to take the next step. He wants to remain at the highest level in Europe, and Benfica's absence from the Champions League weighs on that ambition.

He came close to leaving in January, when Club Brugge lodged an offer of around €10m and the move was nearly completed, with the player ready to head to Belgium. Strong Champions League performances then changed the picture.

He convinced José Mourinho and grew in importance, ending with 43 appearances, 10 goals and seven assists. His form has attracted interest across Europe, including from Barcelona.
