Benfica defender António Silva is attracting Bundesliga interest amid suggestions he wants to leave the Lisbon club.

Sky Germany reports that the 22-year-old is pushing for a move away and that his agents are actively marketing the 18-time Portuguese international. The report adds that several Bundesliga clubs have already made concrete enquiries.

Borussia Dortmund, under new sporting director Nils-Ole Book, will be looking for top-class central defenders in summer. Although rumours suggest defensive leader Nico Schlotterbeck is likely to stay, BVB are keen to recruit a new partner.

Silva’s contract runs until 2027, with the fee estimated at about €15 million to a maximum of €25 million.

BVB could be among the German clubs exploring a deal for Silva.
