Besiktas hope Vlahovic can be convinced by Salah opportunity | OneFootball

Vincenzo Italiano still believes he can convince ex-Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic to join Besiktas, especially as talks advance to sign free agent Mohamed Salah.

The Serbia international’s previous deal expired on June 30, and he has been offered a new contract in Turin at a much lower salary, but is waiting to see if better proposals come along first.

Besiktas are the most determined to lock him down, and are about to have one more reason to convince Vlahovic.

Salah can entice Vlahovic

As if the contract worth €8m per season plus bonuses was not enough, they could give him the opportunity to be teammates with former Liverpool legend Salah.

The Egypt international is also a free agent and currently in advanced negotiations to sign a contract worth €10m per season plus add-ons.

The delay is because his agent reportedly asked for €7.5m in commission, but Turkish transfer pundit Yagiz Sabuncuoglu insists this evening that the demand has been lowered to a more acceptable figure.

Once Salah is announced, then Besiktas can turn their full focus to convincing Vlahovic.
