Real Madrid will not exercise their buyback clause on Como midfielder and major Inter Milan target Nico Paz.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that Los Blancos are ready to leave the Argentine at Como, unless another big offer comes in.
Inter Milan have been following midfielder Nico Paz closely for months now.
The 20-year-old was one of the outstanding players in Serie A last season. He well and truly hit the ground running in his first season at Como after arriving from Real Madrid.
Therefore, Inter have long viewed Paz as a dream signing.
It won’t be easy to make a deal for the Argentine international.
However, one of the major roadblocks to a possible deal looks to have disappeared, according to Sky Sport Italia.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Real Madrid’s buyback option on Nico Paz expires today.
That had always looked to be a major hurdle for Inter in their efforts to sign the 20-year-old.
For as long as the Spanish giants had the option to sign Paz back, they have had control of the player’s future. Therefore, negotiating a deal would be tricky for Inter.
But that buyback option expires today, the end of June. And according to Sky, Los Blancos are not inclined to take advantage of it.
Real Madrid will also have a buyback option on Paz active in the next two summers. However, for the remainder of this summer, they do not.
Accordingly, Sky report, Paz looks ready to stay at Como for another season.
However, that is only if another club does not come in and make the Lariani an offer for the Argentine.
And that could prove to be very tempting for Inter. Therefore, Sky anticipate, it is hardly impossible that the Nerazzurri could jump in and make their move.
