FC Bayern are dreaming of the Champions League title – and for Vincent Kompany, a triumph would also be financially rewarding
FC Bayern’s big dream of winning the treble is alive and well: having already secured the German championship, the Munich side are now in the semi-finals of the Champions League and want to take the next step towards the final
The first leg will take place on 28 April in Paris, followed by the second leg on 6 May in Munich. The grand final will be played in Budapest on 30 May 2026. Arsenal and Atlético Madrid will face each other in the second semi-final
One thing is clear: a triumph in the premier class would not only be a sporting milestone – success would also pay off financially for those involved
As reported by Sport BILD, Vincent Kompany has a special clause in his new contract with FC Bayern, according to which the Belgian will receive a bonus of one million euros if he wins the Champions League
With a place in the semi-finals of the Champions League and a chance to win the DFB Cup, the treble is within reach for Munich. This scenario could also provide additional motivation – not least in view of the contractually fixed bonus payments

Nevertheless, Kompany is likely to focus on one thing: sporting success. The coach has emphasized several times in recent months that he is primarily concerned with the development of the team and achieving the big goals
Should the trophy actually end up in the hands of Bayern, the millions would probably be more of a pleasant side effect for Kompany – and at the same time the reward for an exceptionally successful Bayern season.
