Leeds United have spent £34m to sign Tarik Muharemovic ahead of their second season back in the Premier League, sharpening focus on where bookmakers think the Whites will finish.
Nine days after adding Harry Wilson on a free following his Fulham release, Leeds unveiled the Bosnia and Herzegovina international centre-back on Friday as their second summer signing. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the latest title and relegation odds map out a projected 2026-27 final table, with particularly strong calls on Leeds and Sunderland after last season’s finishes.
Muharemovic joins from Serie A side Sassuolo and becomes United’s second costliest recruit, behind the £35.5m paid for Georginio Rutter.
The projected top six reads Arsenal 1st, Manchester City 2nd, Liverpool 3rd, Manchester United 4th, Chelsea 5th and Tottenham Hotspur 6th.
Arsenal are priced at 13-8 for the title, with City 10-3 and quoted as short as 9-4 by some firms. Liverpool are 13-2, United 7-1, Chelsea 11-1 and Spurs 25-1, trimmed to 16s in places.
