Borussia Dortmund pushes for this young Brazilian talent

Borussia Dortmund is continuing talks with Cruzeiro to sign promising Brazilian defender Kauã Prates. At just 17 years old, the player has already agreed to join the German club, according to Sky.

BVB has already made an initial bid, reportedly worth around €10 million, but Cruzeiro turned it down. Nevertheless, Dortmund has no intention of backing down and is preparing a new offer in the coming days.

Highly motivated by the prospect of playing in Europe, Prates is pushing for a move to the Bundesliga, which could tip the negotiations in the Germans' favor. Deployed as a left-back, the young Brazilian youth international has already made 14 senior appearances since his debut last July, netting one goal. His contract with Cruzeiro runs until December 2027.
