Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid has not quite gone to plan so far, especially with his former side, PSG, winning back-to-back UEFA Champions League titles after he left.
Yet, the French forward has slowly and surely adapted to life at the Spanish capital and it is safe to say that it is just a matter of time before he tastes elite success once more.
The men in white have gone trophy-less in the past two seasons, but Florentino Perez and Co. are assembling a dangerous squad for next season and they could well be the building blocks to a project that see Mbappe go down as a legend of the game.
Football legend Ronaldo Nazario, widely considered one of the greatest ever players to have graced the game, spoke to the media recently where he was asked briefly about Kylian Mbappe and the Real Madrid star’s influence on the game.

Responding to the same, the Brazilian legend heaped praise of the highest order on the French star and compared him directly to his former self.
“When I watch Kylian Mbappe, he reminds me of myself in my prime,” he said via L’Equipe.
For such words to come out of Ronaldo, needless to say, speaks volumes about what Mbappe has already achieved at a young age. He arrived at Real Madrid only to further his legacy, and it is safe to say that it is only a matter of time before it happens.

He has continued the same form into the event in the United States and is already among the top scorers in the competition after the group stages.
Mbappe scored a brace in France’s opener against Senegal and then went on to score a second brace in the next clash against Iraq. He racked up two assists against Norway but failed to score in the same.
Only Lionel Messi, at this point, has more goals than Mbappe and it is safe to say that he is on track for another special World Cup. After all, France are one of the biggest favourites to win it all.
