Bremen linked with out-of-contract SC Paderborn marksman Bilbija | OneFootball

According to information from Sport Bild, SC Paderborn top goal-scorer Filip Bilbija is believed to be on Werder Bremen's shortlist. 

The 26-year-old will be available on a free transfer this summer, given his contract with the German second division side is expiring.

Bilbija joined Paderborn from Hamburger SV in 2023 for €500,000 and has since made 95 competitive appearances for the club.

This season, the winger has registered 16 goals in all competitions, playing a key role in keeping SCP's promotion hopes alive. 

Regardless of how Paderborn's season ends, the Berlin native could easily envisage a move to the Bundesrepublik's topflight in summer.

Bremen have already been busy ahead of the transfer window opening, signing Karlo Simic, Darwin Soylu, and Kenny Quetant.
