Head coach Keith Andrews has provided an update on Mikkel Damsgaard ahead of Brentford’s Premier League game against Leeds United on Saturday (8pm kick-off GMT, live on Sky Sports).

The midfielder picked up a knock during the Bees’ 2-2 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday.

Dams was on the grass today, which is obviously positive,” Andrews revealed.

“We’ll give him every chance to see how he is for tomorrow.”

Full-backs Rico Henry and Aaron Hickey remain sidelined with hamstring injuries, while Vitaly Janelt (metatarsal) and Josh Dasilva (knee ligament) are also out.

Fábio Carvalho and Antoni Milambo will miss the rest of the campaign due to ACL injuries.

The Bees have won five of their last seven away games in the Premier League.

Asked about his side’s performances on the road, Andrews said: “We’ve been on a really good run.

“We’ve looked really calm and confident in what we’ve been doing. Whatever’s been thrown at us, we’ve dealt with it pretty well.

“The group are in a pretty good place. There will be a quiet, calm confidence about how we approach the game tomorrow.”
