Michael Kayode’s rise in English football continues to attract attention, and his agent Andrea Ritorni believes the former Fiorentina full-back is destined for greater heights.

Speaking to TuttoMercatoWeb, Ritorni discussed the youngster’s adaptation to life at Brentford, his rapid development in the Premier League, and what could come next in his career.

Kayode, who joined Brentford over the summer, has quickly impressed with his work rate and defensive maturity, earning early trust from manager Thomas Frank and assistant Keith Andrews. His consistent performances have already placed him among the most promising Italian defenders abroad, and his agent suggested that a step up to an elite club could be inevitable if his progress continues.

“He’s doing really well and is now finding his best physical condition,” Ritorni said. “He’s improving a lot with the ball and has earned the trust of both Thomas Frank and Keith Andrews.”

“In the future, I can see him taking another step up to a top club. That’s not to say Brentford isn’t one — but I see him going even higher,” he continued.

Ritorni also noted that there are still aspects to refine in Kayode’s game, particularly his first touch and physical strength. “He marked really well against Manchester City, but he still needs to improve his first touch and his physicality,” he added.
