Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation of AS Monaco’s Lamine Camara (22), according to The Telegraph.
Other Premier League clubs, including Liverpool and Newcastle United, are also expected to join the race to sign the Senegalese midfielder, who is currently competing in the World Cup with the Lions of Teranga.
Having become a key player for the Monegasques, the Diouloulou-born player once again delivered standout performances during the 2025-26 season, scoring three goals and providing four assists in 31 appearances (29 starts) across all competitions.
Under contract with ASM until 2029, Camara is set to become a major player in the French transfer market, with the club’s management reportedly willing to let him go in exchange for a fee of €40 million.
Having joined Monaco from FC Metz in the summer of 2024, the 22-year-old has gradually established himself as one of the leading players in his position in Ligue 1, where he has now made 84 appearances (six goals, 15 assists).
